New Delhi: A disturbing trend is giving rise to religious extremism in the street of London. It is called 'Muslim Patrol'. A group of young men has been posting videos on YouTube, showing them patrolling the streets of predominately Muslim areas and harassing people whom they think are not 'conforming to the practices of Islam'.

The Muslim population in UK has steadily increased in the past one decade. Statistics reveal the number of Muslims living in UK shot up by 8 percent in last 10-years.
The localities in which these so-called Muslim Patrol are taking place, house a Muslim population of 34.5 percent.
Muslim constitutes third largest religious group in UK according to 2011 census.
Police have arrested five men in this connection. The group's notoriety has left the people of the area terrified.
Local shop owners are afraid to sell alcohol and employ uncovered women.
People have been targeted for drinking alcohol, dressing inappropriately and looking like gay!
The high number of immigrants has caused original inhabitants to move out and seek English friendly areas.
One report titled, I feel stranger Where I live, published in The Telegraph, summed it up in an interesting manner. The larger population of immigrants in UK has left many people looking like outsiders in their own land.
